The Life Of Rich Kids
Almost everyone thinks that being the rich kid is one of the best things that can ever happen to anyone. It is like if you happen to be one of those people who have the privilege of being labeled as the rich kid, then there isn’t anything else that you can want in this life, which probably has something to do with the fact that if you had rich parents, that automatically means that you get what you want.
It was already obvious from the first paragraph of this article, but I will tell you anyway what I am up to. Today, we are going to talk about how it is to be a rich kid, the lifestyle of rich kids.
Who wants to read an article that does nothing but tells stories about supposed events that weren’t even true, to begin with. What I am about to tell you about the lifestyle of rich kids was not gotten from an article you can ever find online or the library. It is a real account that one of my colleagues shared with me last month.
What Is The Lifestyle Of The Rich Kids Like?
Of course, I am not about to name this person. Apart from my need to protect my source, the purpose of this article is not to delve into the personal life of rich kids. Rather, the whole point of this is to shed light on some people on why certain rich kids act the way they do.
Okay so here it goes. I had a friend living in a Silicon Valley. Her dad was a serial entrepreneur. As you can expect, her family had lots of money. They probably don’t even know what to do with it because as my friend explained to me, ever since her college days and as long as she can remember, she was always given heaps of cash for her allowance.
She never experienced what most college kids experienced – working. A lot of students have to go on their part-time job just so they can have the money to pay for either their tuition or a school project. This was not the case for my friend. She had everything she had ever wanted and more.
Things didn’t change even when she graduated from college. Most people are pretty excited to start working when they graduate from the university. This was not the case for my friend.
As a matter of fact, for the first two years of her life, the only things she had to do was stay at her dad’s mansion where she had full access to the swimming pool, as well as a couple of Jacuzzi in the place.
She got a bit bored by the second year and so what she did was go off to Canada with her boyfriend. She was the kind of person that you would most likely envy because she lived a life of travel. That was what she did for the rest of her young years.
It All Came To A Stop
One day she lost all the support she ever got when her father and mother died. It was not the most horrible times of her life. She had insurance money. She told me that she had no idea what she had to do with the money, but a family member advised her to invest it in the stock market, which she willingly obeyed. She did not regret her decision because it was the one thing that turned her into a millionaire. With everything that has happened to her, perhaps it is not true that when the parents of a rich person die, the person dies along in the process, because rich kids are not usually used to taking care of themselves.
This was not true for her. She did just fine. She was even surprised by the fact that she was the only one in her age who became a millionaire.
One time, the dot.com stocks were about to hit the bottom. Luckily, a family member warned her about it. With that, she was able to sell the stocks just in time. When the bad luck finally came, she astounded by the fact that she was the only person her age that had any money. The rest of everyone she knows had lost all of their investment.
The Lifestyle Of The Rich At Her 40s
She was already rich, but she still had a job at a PR company. She should be happy, she made loads and loads of money, but it seems like there was a part of her that was missing.
When she was young, she did not do anything with her life. All she did was spend and spend everything that she gets her hands on.
She had everything she ever wanted, but at her age, she still had no idea what her purpose in life was. The point in her life when she was supposed to discover what her inner passion was supposed to be, she was too busy living as a spoiled brat.
Her current situation eventually led to depression. It was not long before she quit everything she had – she left her job, she left her boyfriend and decided to just stay at home instead.
It was getting lonely for her because the only thing she knew how to do was to be a kid. Now, that she is already an adult, she cannot keep up with society’s standard of her being a mature person. She eventually started her own restaurant business and is now living a pretty comfortable life, probably not as comfortable as before, but she is pretty ambitious, and pretty soon, she is bound to outdo her dad.
The only thing I want to tell you about the lifestyle of the rich kid is that rich parents don’t typically let their kids see what they did to get where they are. The only thing they do want for their kids is to live the comfortable life.
The lifestyle of the rich kids is pretty much the same as the rich parents. The only difference is that the parents know full well how to make and keep the money. Once the rich kid realizes this, they also end up being as rich as the parent. In the end, everything lies in ambition and action.
